Cobram Primary School gets a moveable mural
Category: Animals & Nature Murals | School Murals
When approached by Cobram Primary School to do a mural on their campus they wanted an artwork that represented the local wildlife, school colours, logo with an educational theme but they had one major concern which was they did not yet have a wall to be painted. Working around this I offered the idea of painting a mural over 3 Marine Ply Sheets that would later be installed at the school where ever they would like, the great thing about this is it’s also moveable offering the possibility to move it from one side of the school to another once new builds happen giving it an even longer lifespan.
Logo’s are often a major talking point in school murals although it’s a hard one to approach as they can overpower the mural so for this piece I’ve added them subtly within the books that the Blue Wren & Spotted Pardalote birds are standing on.
A huge thanks to Arts For All Inc and Cobram Barooga Apex for funding these projects.
