In 2021 I was just wrapping up my mural artist residency in Wodonga (painting murals for 6 months full time under Wodonga City Council) and it was time to paint some independent projects that came up over that period now that I had my own schedule this poolside turtle mural would be the first of many on the list!. The client wanted to compliment her pool colours and incorporate an realistic animal and I saw a perfect opportunity to challenge myself with a reflective technique combined with a unique pattern flow for background elements. The reflective water technique was a very challenging yet rewarding process and the final outcome made the client very happy!

I would love to paint more of these residential home flora and fauna murals! seeing clients light up after seeing the final result is always a really rewarding process!
