A kingfisher mural painted in the back courtyard of a residential home in Fitzroy, the clients wanted a kingfisher along with a more subtle background so with that in mind I painted the background selectively with a traditional styled background so that the brickwork came through.

With minimal fades in these areas it allowed for that area to blend well into that wall without having the paint over it entirely. With that tied in with the Kingfishers natural tones it created a neutral yet vibrant finish.
