A courtyard in Fitzroy comes to life
Category: Unique Shaped Murals
New home owners in Fitzroy building their dream location had spent years strolling around Melbournes well known street art filled laneways and wanted to add their own splash of unique colour to their back area. With this being such a tight space they wanted something that was colourful and inviting but not too distinct that couldn’t be taken in from close up so going with my traditional flowing style was perfect.
I find residential clients quite often find it hard to visualise what could happen within a space when it’s not yet been built at this point I will send through a series of different works to choose from, follow along to see the entire process!
As this was the start of something much bigger I was given plans from the client and took this opportunity to be inspired by what was to come including main focal points atop of areas that you may not see as much and including colour usages from the plants that where to come
Inspiration for colour usages:
Natural Greens: Vines and shrubbery
Natural Browns: To compliment all the stained timber to come
Pretty Pinks: Blooming flowers
Deep Purples: Growing lavender plants
Location: Private location in Fitzroy
Medium: Spray Paint & Acrylic
