Can’t Do Tomorrow Street Art Festival
Can’t do tomorrow was a street art festival hosted in a large warehouse facility in Kensington, Melbourne with an estimated outcome of 16,000+ people coming through the doors. This event was a coming together of urban art and contemporary culture in a lavish underground like facility. As a part of this project I was invited to paint a mural and install a booth however I saw fit. Over the following week I manned this booth and was lucky enough to have most of my art go back with purchasers to a new collection.
The portrait itself was inspired to invoke emotion with a teardrop dripping and monsters all around her the piece was meant to put off the feeling of looking over your shoulder in a moment you’re ready to let go.
