Baranduda has become a very special place for me, after painting the Underpass, Skatepark & Community Centre I had Baranduda Primary School get in touch wanting a mural which all started with the large scale rendition of the “Baranduda Bee” this all began with the school leaders approaching me wanting a large scale version of their bee with a limited budget and to make this work within that range I painted the background selectively with my large scale pressure painter and filled the main parts of the wall with three hero images being two flowers and the bee.

Along with this to compliment the flow of the mural and to add movement I painted small realistic bees throughout the mural almost floating along with the abstract flowing line workd, little did I know this public artwork piece would become many more over the coming years as the general perspective was incredibly positive!
